The Moon over Yokkaichi tonight
The rain cleared all of the regular pollution out of the sky and now it’s cold and clear outside, with the exception of some thin clouds whipping across the sky. Took this with my Pentax K20D and 300mm zoom (450mm equivalent due to the camera’ sensor being smaller than a regular 35mm film frame). Time exposure of Yokkaichi smoke stacks at night
I made this time exposure on a bike path near our apartment. I guess it was probably April or May of this year.I balanced my SLR on my bike seat. The odd colours are due to the Ferrania Solaris Italian film stock. Not sure,but the odd blue marks at the edges may suggest that the film has been exposed to X-rays at some point.I dig the grain of it and the putrid green sky.    Posted via...
